Truly Deeply is proud to showcase our brand development work for Davos Festival.
A new stand-out festival identity that is accompanied by a visual theme that connects with a younger audience and has flexibility to reflect changing annual festival themes.
Held annually in the mountains of Davos, the classical music festival features the cream of young musicians from around Europe. After almost thirty years, falling attendance numbers identified a critical need to attract a new audience amongst younger classical music fans in Switzerland and abroad.
The previous brand identity and visual language was deemed too conservative and was not resonating with the newly defined target market.
Truly Deeply’s new identity reflects the contemporary spirit of the festival as well as the magic of the place. A clean, contemporary and strong type mark provides the perfect anchor-point for evolving festival theme design.
Our brandmark is based-upon the twin peaks of the Davos mountains and features the ‘A’ letter element in the Festival type mark. The identity also included a variation that marked the 29th anniversary of the festival, as well as a pull-out brand lock-up featuring the ‘twin peaks’ element and 29th anniversary numbering.
Truly Deeply provided Davos Festival with brand identity, stationery, brochure design, festival environmental graphics, digital and promotion campaign design.
