How to bid

Art with Heart raises money for a charity each year through the sale of the artwork by blind auction. All profits raised from the event will be donated to the selected charity. A blind auction is where the bidders place a bid above a set reserve that they would like to buy the artwork for. Bidders don’t know how many other people have bid on that piece of art, or the value of those bids – that’s why it’s called a blind auction.

If you’d like to place a bid for any artwork you see here on the site, click on the ‘bid’ link below the picture. Fill-in the name of the artwork and the amount you would like to bid (make sure your bid is higher than the reserve). Bidding closes for all artwork at 9pm on the evening of the art show.

The winner of the blind auction will be the highest bid at that point. Winning bidders will be informed in the days following the art show. Should there be two identical bids for any piece of art, the two bidders will be contacted by telephone and asked if they would like to increase their bid. The highest bid at the end of this process will secure the artwork.

All artwork will need to be paid-for and picked-up from Truly Deeply’s studio in South Melbourne, Australia by the end of September. Upon receipt of payment we can freight the artwork to you, but can’t take responsibility for it arriving safely to you.
