A new brand of coffee experience is warming the chilly city Brussels. Coffee Avenue is a beautifully restored VW that braves the chilly Belgium weather bringing hot drinks on wheels to warm the hearts. What better metaphor can there be for a brand with it’s proposition ‘baked-in’ – or should that be ‘roasted-in’. A great example of how small brands can be big on personality – creating a compelling reason for customers to flock to them, enjoy the experience and form deep, loyal connections. Check the pics below, all-in-all a wonderfully compelling little brand experience.

Top 1K: Top 1000 brands on the net

Google have today published the top 1000 visited brands on the internet. Makes for some very interesting reading. You’ll need at least 4 million, unique visitors, for your site to make the list. To make just 1%, takes 16 million unique visitors. Looks like we’ve got some work to do here at Truly Deeply.

Being an avid sports enthusiast (in particular the round ball game) I went to the Socceroos farewell game against New Zealand on Monday night at the MCG. Now I’m going into detail about the match (fair to say it wasn’t pretty) but upon entering the Best Sports City in the world’s precinct there was the usual cheering, flag waving and buzz that Melbourne is accustomed to for any major (or for that matter often minor) sporting event, but something caught my eye and not only my eye but thousands of supporters – male and female.

The Let’s Colour Project is a worldwide community initiative with one goal in mind, to brighten up the world by transforming grey spaces with vibrant colour. The project, which began in March, has already brought color to the
streets of Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Jodhpur and London. Dulux would like this to be the beginning of a colour movement that spreads to the rest of the globe.
