Branding a world famous Business School
The merger between Melbourne Business School and Monash Business School at t Eliza provided the opportunity for MBS to refresh their brand as a signal to the market of the changes that stemmed from the merger.
We designed a new brand mark for MBS, leveraging the heritage of the School and its link to the prestigious Melbourne University through the use of the winged goddess, a symbol used throughout the University’s history. We paired the brand symbol with a typeface that communicated prestige and corporate gravitas, retaining the existing dark red brand colour to assist transitional consistency in the market.
WE developed a visual theme of Re:new for the launch of the re-branded business school. The launch collateral included a brochure with embossed, gold printed cover and a suite of organic images reflecting re-birth and growth. We developed a video presentation and branded environmental graphics for the launch event.
