Like many organisations, EWOV is required to produce an annual report. In the case of EWOV, this is their primary communication tools to key stakeholders, so it was important that it wasn’t just an information dump but an engaging communications piece.
Importantly, EWOV has a lot of data so they needed to find ways to simplify and make the information more assessable and engaging for all audiences.
Using the brand’s key assets, we created a modern and clean theme throughout the report to tell EWOVs story of ‘the difference is in the detail’. The visual style helped EWOV demonstrate how they are focused on all the details (not just the big picture) to ultimately improve performance across the energy and water sectors.
The visual language used the circles, dots and powerful infographics to draw out and simplify important data and statistics, so they were appealing and easy to understand. The three different colours were used to highlight and compare performance from the three sectors that EWOV represents; gas, electricity and water.
