Banksy's London Olympic Games Inspiration

Let the Games Begin
Yes we’ve had a few Olympic posts lately, and yes we’ve covered Banksy before also, but it’s out brand & design blog and we’ll obsess if we want to. So when I spotted these two new pieces of Banksy art in the lead-up to the London Olympics, there was no way I couldn’t post them.
As London completes it’s last minute lick of paint before the opening ceremony, this Banksy work is sure to reignite controversy over the removal of graffiti for the Games. As Banksy’s work is considered an artistic attraction it is usually protected from council cleaning and graffiti removal. This work seems provocatively timed as graffiti around London is suffering under a particularly heavy-handed pre-Games clean-up.

Happy Olympics – from us and our mate Banksy.
