Click Fizzer Highlights the Challenges of Online for Retail Brands
This week’s Click frenzy turned-out to be more of a Click Fizzer. After much hype, the concept appears to have been let down by a technology, a targeting promotional campaign and lack of support from retailers by-way of genuine discounted offers. These three critical ingredients combined with a fourth – time for the concept to take hold and grow momentum – meant the eventual outcome of frustrated and disappointed consumer let-down (for those who bothered to log-on) was a likely result.
