Typographic Chessboard – A Christmas must-have for the Design Obsessed

Typographic Design Brilliance
It’s one of those things that leaves you wondering why no-one has come up with it before. This typographic chess set designed by hat-trick is as beautiful as it is clever, where the ‘K’ letterform represents the king, and so-on.
The pieces are are laser cut from 25mm acrylic and based-on the typeface Champion (lightweight) by Hoefler Frere Jones. And the only issue is these are a strictly limited edition of just 50 sets. So if you love someone who loves type design – you’d better get on your bike and track one down.
