The Prey of a Sneaking Duck
Shoes of Prey was founded by Michael Fox, Mike Knapp and Jodie Fox in Sydney in 2009. Love the name. Also love what they are doing with 3D printing.
With their 3D Designer you get to choose the shape, colour and height of your shoes. They then custom make your design and ship anywhere in the world in around 4 weeks.
And just in case you are nervous about the shoes you designed not quite looking or feeling as you imagined, they have thought about that too.
Your shoes will be delivered free and can be returned within 365 days, where upon they will remake them free of charge or offer a full refund.
It really is next generation in shoe making and customer engagement. Individual and stylish.
The good thing is now they are making it possible for you to also design something to sit on your nose and ears, and we are not talking an elephant.
They have, through their sister company Sneaking Duck (love that name also!) made available a range of 3D-printed glasses frames, allowing customers to customise the frame’s colour and arm length, and etch a message on the frame.
Very individual and very cool. It does make you wonder what message you would choose to etch on the frame. Interested in any thoughts, and we already have ‘left’ and ‘right’ covered for the glasses arms.
Personally, I would be very happy to simply have ‘Sneaking Duck’ and trust that most people would not miss read it, if you get what I mean.
