Just Recognition for Unique Brand Design
A recent post on LinkedIn by Robert Boyle, Creative Director at Target McConnells turned my attention to this font made out of rubber bands. As a creator of brands I’m a big fan of customised fonts. In recent years we’ve compiled a couple of blog posts with great examples of the craft. I consider them to be a much overlooked opportunity to create a unique brand asset in a world where brands are clamoring to connect any single, memorable gesture with the hearts and minds of their markets. As it turned-out, Robert was letting us know the worlds largest rubberband manufacturer had just got in touch with him, and bought the font to print in large format throughout their HQ. We say; “Great work Rob – and great work to the brand centric business who saw the value in this piece of brand design”.
