One of our clients OCRF has recently kicked off a campaign on conjunction with L’Oréal called #10hours to highlight that every 10 hours one women dies from ovarian cancer. We’re proud supporters of their efforts and wanted to help spread the word.
L’Oréal Paris is launching the inaugural #10HOURS campaign, led by Megan Gale, the Australian face of L’Oréal. The campaign is a new initiative to acknowledge the frightening statistic that one woman in Australia dies from ovarian cancer every 10 hours.
The #10HOURS campaign sees a huge host of Australian celebrities, media, influencers and consumers lending their support to the OCRF. We are asking all Australians to joining the fight against ovarian cancer, both by donating towards vital research funding and spreading the word with #10HOURS on social media.
“Both L’Oréal Paris and I are passionate about supporting and empowering women, and I am incredibly honoured to be a part of this initiative. While awareness of the disease has increased, it still remains a ruthless, silent killer, without an early detection program. OCRF’s research is vital in the fight against ovarian cancer and together we hope to save thousands of women’s lives,”
As part of the #10HOURS campaign, The Australian Women’s Weekly will also host a national High Tea Tour, led by Editor-in-Chief Helen McCabe, to help raise much-needed funding for an early detection test. We are also encouraging Australians to host their own high teas to continue to raise awareness and funding for the cause.

The #10HOURS campaign will roll out during July and August 2015.
Together we can make a difference, because every woman is worth it.
