Calling all Courageous Blondes – Lululemon Partners with Canadian Brewery

It seem’s that Lululemon is now targeting the yoga loving, beer drinkers. Who doesn’t like a cold beer after a sweaty yoga session?… The global activewear brand has partnered with Canadian based brewery, Stanley Park Brewing to create a lemon hopped ale called ‘Courageous Blonde’.

It’s the second collaboration Lululemon has had with Stanley Park Brewery. The first beer that was crafted last year was called Curiosity Lager, and the comments from the brewery’s marketing director Doug Devlin were that “Just because you’re a yogi, doesn’t mean you won’t have an occasion for beer, and we’re certainly interested in talking to that crowd.”

Blondes (and brunettes) can try out the newly crafted beer during the Sunset Festival in Vancouver. There will be a mix of fitness, outdoor yoga, food, music and of course beer.

A strange partnership, but clearly a strategic one.
