Banyule Council

City of Banyule, connecting and engaging with the local community

Truly Deeply has been working with Banyule City Council in Melbourne's North-East for more than five years.

During this time we have provided strategy, design and consultation on a wide variety of projects, ranging from campaigns to naming to local newsletters.

Rediscover Local

Rediscover Local was launched by Council in the aftermath of the COVID-19 lockdown. The initiative supports and celebrates small business in Banyule.

Rediscover Local encourages residents to support the businesses that support their community and shines a light on the amazing variety of goods and services they offer. The campaign also provides locals with a range of exclusive offers and discounts.

Truly Deeply designed the brandmark and the visual language as well as marketing collateral across various platforms including social, brochures and outdoor.

Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub - Naming of Art Galleries

In June 2020, we worked Council to develop names for signature public art spaces within the new Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub development.

We facilitated a workshop with key stakeholders from the Council and the community to explore and stress test name options for the museum standard gallery and the community arts space within the new precinct.

The final names chosen were ‘Art Gallery 275’ and ‘Loft 275’ for the two spaces. The use of ‘275’ is derived from the street address of the Hub and provides a strong connection to connect to the two art spaces and build a stronger profile for the Council’s art spaces.

Banyule Banner & News from Our Neighbourhood

Banyule Council publishes two newsletters quarterly for their residents.

The Banyule Banner is for the entire area. News from Our Neighbourhood is ward specific.

Truly Deeply designs and produces the publications with news and content supplied by Council.
