Brand positioning for pomegranate growers


Before Australian Pomegranate Growers entered the market they needed to have clarity around their new brand and a name that evoked the ancient mystery of pomegranates while promoting them as a modern superfood.

Starting with a workshop to draw out the essential brand strategy cornerstones of essence, values and personality we then developed a brand book to bring to life the look and feel that would be necessary for the potential brand. The design used historic imagery, Islamic patterns and rich colours counterpointed with clean vibrant modern photography.

The new name Pomagrande was developed to give the brand some ownership of pomegranates through simple association, while being unique and ownable
and linking it to the mysterious, magical qualities of this very unique superfood.
