Truly Deeply’s annual charity art exhibition is on tomorrow, Wednesday 24th October, don’t miss it.
Once again we’ll open up our studio to share local art and raise money for a local charity. The event showcases wonderful art from painters, sculptors, digital artists and others, including from Truly Deeply’s own creative team.
By bidding on the artwork, taking part in the silent auction or buying a mystery envelope, you will help support this year’s charity StartOut.
Since Art with Heart began in 2002, Truly Deeply has raised nearly $360,000 for local charities. Using our creative talents to raise funds for local charities, our South Melbourne studio transforms into a one night only art exhibition. This year’s theme is ‘True’ in recognition of our selected charity StartOut, a local health promotion charity providing regional outreach and mentorship programmes for young people of diverse sexuality and gender (DSG).
“Let’s celebrate the diversity of people on the planet!” Lincoln Walker, one of our 25 contributing artists, believes. “I love the idea of StartOut or any other support program that allows people more freedom to be themselves. If we could allow all people this freedom, I believe life would be way more fun and harmonious.”

Ben Ee, a first-time first contributor to Art with Heart, thinks it’s vital for youth to be allowed freedom to explore their sexuality and gender.
“It’s important for all people to feel comfortable in their body and mind,” he says. “I think it’s a beautiful thing for art and expression be tied to the kindness of giving. It’s telling of the human experience, to give and receive, to help and find beauty.”

Through funds raised, StartOut will be able to pay for the training of 100 additional mentors to support up to 300 vulnerable young people where there is need for its services is greatest, especially in regional and rural Australia.
Art with Heart started as a way to combine our creative talents as brand designers with our belief that we should each play a part in making the world a better place.
“The idea is great and think more companies should roll it out,” says contributing artist Olga Grueva.
“It’s such a great way to get the studio thinking creatively even if you don’t consider yourself a creative. It’s wonderful opportunity to contribute, donating my time and creative output for others to enjoy. Meeting others that have contributed or are interested in purchasing is a highlight and there’s always such a great energy on the night and lead up. The biggest buzz is when someone purchases your art you know that money is going to an amazing cause.”
“I always love seeing which charity Truly Deeply is going to select and I am forever learning about new charities!”
