Google Analytics looks at UX In Real Life

Are you distracting your customers and deterring them from buying what they really want on your site?

For the holiday season, the team at Google Analytics thought it would be helpful (and fun) to demonstrate how missteps on the digital shelf play out in real life.

User experience design in the digital world is still relatively new to me…. sure it has been around in its rawest form for ages. The fundamentals are used in visual design. Look at any apple product or Dieter Rams 10 principles for good design. These are all influencers of user focused design.

Sometimes it can be hard to grasp something that is not tangible. A unique service or journey you can only experience….

Good user centred design takes an in-depth look at the goals, needs, and contexts of the users, using that information to drive decisions into depths the team can’t reach otherwise.

Google analytics have done a fantastic job at visualising a human experience in a digital world and bring to light some very real issues you can experience as we continue to spend more and more time online.
