The big news on influencer marketing is; think small

innovative branding agency

Influencer marketing is a powerful way to share your brand’s message with a targeted audience.
One of the strongest marketing trends to emerge in recent times is influencer marketing, which involves recruiting influential social media people to promote you through their blogs, Youtube channels and Instagram feeds. The real power brokers in this space have millions of people in their community, but more impressive is the degree of trust and engagement, which surpasses that of traditional media channels. It’s only a matter of time until these new influencers are able to command the type of marketing fees their level of influence deserves. For now though, these channels can provide very high value for relative marketing spend.

Interestingly though, recent research has revealed that ‘micro-influencers’ (those with a strong following, but not in the millions) actually have more loyal communities and drive higher engagement on posts than their power broker peers. For small brands, the opportunity lies in engaging these micro-influencers, to build genuinely synergistic relationships that are authentic and valued. In the long run, well nurtured relationships with a handful of micro-influencers could become your brands most valuable marketing asset.
